Some of the notes I jotted down in answer to my questions:
- take starting point before Optifast (296.2)
- 140 would be perfect weight for me - I had 160 extra lbs to lose and a realistic outcome with the sleeve would be 70% (100 lbs) with 12-18 months
- 60 grams min - 90 grams of protein daily is even better
- approx 1200 calories daily
- need to eat every 4 hours, even if not hungry (I don't do this currently so this is something for me to focus on)
- have one bottle of water, then two - buildup the habit
- 10,000 steps daily still the goal
- morning meal should have most - 30 grams of protein
- protein bar is a good choice
- lunch / supper should be 1/2 protein, 1/4 healthy carb and 1/4 fruit / veggie
- snack around 4 pm could be unsalted almonds or berries
Our next follow-up is March 17th so I WILL be down at least 50 by then - 6 months. You know me though - I'll be shooting for more!
