Honestly! My heart goes out to you with the handyman situation! We had a somewhat similar situation when trying to get the repairs completed after Hurricane Ian because the home insurance was contingent upon audited and approved repairs. I started crying in exasperation, and luckily for me, my husband stepped in, called the handyman and yelled at him over the phone. Now, you have to understand that my husband is very quiet and soft spoken, but not when it came to that handyman! He threatened him, and fired his butt. It's still a nightmare to me, but it finally got resolved, thank you, Jesus!
