tomatoes? Nope. I picked them green the day that we were expecting heavy frost at night, wrapped them in brown paper, and stored them in a cardboard box in the garage closet under the stairs. I would unwrap a few as time went on and let it ripen. We had some for Thanksgiving and Christmas, with the peas and greens on New Year's Day and up until I ate the last one on Saturday in a sandwich. I did lose a few that were too green to get them to turn, but all in al,l it was good.
