winds yesterday afternoon and it started snowing about midnight. It looked like freezing mist instead of real snow. It piled up about 3 inches overnight then stopped this morning for a lull. They tell us that we are supposed to get the freezing rain and sleet tonight. It has been 15°F all day but supposed to warm up to 20 by midnight and the freezing rain is supposed to start because it is much warmer above us than on the ground. This is when the damage is supposed to start.

About 25 miles south of us they had freezing rain last night. THankfully we were spared. It is a mess with downed trees, electric lines, and poles. According to the weather forecastors they are supposed to continue to get it until tomorrow afternoon or evening. They are already talking about power being out there for weeks. Temps are only predicted to be 33 one time in the next 10 days the rest of the time in the teens and 20s.
