I certainly didn't try to follow any plan and ate too much. But it happened and I'll take it. Actually I think it was poop. Sorry, if it's tmi. Hard to stay focused when feeling pain.

That’s what usually happens. I have never gone this long without falling off track. Or losing 5 weeks in a row. Except 18 years ago when I had surgery.

My scale saga Posted by Paula on 4/9/2025, 10:15 am, in reply to "Weigh in Wednesday" Returned my WW scale because it felt too small. I couldn't see the number without wiggling around which changed the number. Ordered the brand Cindyh loves and kept getting inconsistent readings. Ordered a Wyze which was the #1 recommended by the NYTs. Same thing. I currently have both on the floor and have tried various places to see if it's my floor. I don't care if my scale is exactly like my doctor's but I need it to be consistent with itself so I know how much I lose. Not sure what I'm going to do. I either weighed 270.2 or 271.2 this morning. Weighed 274 something last Wednesday. I am stunned it isn't more. I didn't eat much last Thursday. No appetite. That's why it was only dry heaves when the virus hit that night. Just th 'D' should have been 10 pounds!!! What a nightmare. ToDry toast Friday . Maybe a banana and English Muffin Saturday. Yesterday I had zero appetite and didn't eat until about 7 only because I thought I should...English Muffin and a little peanut butter. Wait, I'm lying. Except for Fridy and Saturday, I'm starting the day with a protein drink and, either a banana or an oat bite (Bobos, pretty healthy and satisfies my sweet tooth). I bet I've cracked 1000 calories 1 day in the past week. This isn't my plan but appetite just isn't there. Maybe, because I've been sick or, more likely, if I'm not eating sweets, I don't care that much about food. I think I should have weighed 195 this morning. LOL

It may be from inflammation in both cases and when the swelling goes down the scale will just fall. I just hope you are back to 100% soon.

I was wanting the scale to move after staying the same for two weeks and it did. I am up 2.8 pounds. Had not been eating overnight until last night (I weigh on Tuesdays so that isn’t the reason for the gain!). Ugh. I just don’t have my food during the day where it needs to be. I know why I saw a gain. Being accountable and moving on.
