Mine Posted by Paula on 5/9/2025, 9:36 am, in reply to "Friday gratitudes…" Someday, I will go to the bathroom again. Haven't since Sunday. My poor body just isn't used to having to work so hard. It's used to digesting lots of carbs and sugar. It doesn't know what to do with all these more complicated foods. I think it will relearn what is 'natural' but, in the meantime, I'm bloated and uncomfortable. I'm gettingplenty of fiber and drinking 8 glasses.of water most days. It doesn't help that I don'tmove much. I am going to have to force myself to.walk the driveway a little bit everyday even if it hurts. I'm trying to get to the pool a couple days a week but hasn't happened so far.'Nuff said about that! I asked one of the women at daycare if Co still plays so hard or if she is beginning to settle down as she approaches 2 y/o. She laughed and said " No, she isn't slowing down. She does take rests but, she's so popular that the dogs all approach her to play. She's like, 'ok, I'll play with you." .ade me laugh. Seeing my flowers bloom in their time. Seeing the joy and gratitude of the people in St Peter's Square. I was really moved by people having so much passion for their faith. I also love seeing places I have visited. I've been to the Vatican twice and the Sistene Chapel once. I am so lucky to have traveled so much over the past 13 years. I will have to keep on working to support it but, that's OK. I think I'm done with new places except for Scotland. I will always want to return to Paris and London and, after yesterday, may revisit Rome.

If you have upped your fiber you will need to up your water A LOT double or more until your body gets used to it or it will form concrete. Not fun. I love your stories of Cosette and that she is still so playful. You are so lucky to have traveled as much as you have. I have always wanted to travel extensively but I was never a good traveler. I have to live vicariously through you.

I went from sugar and carbs and hardly any fiber up to 25+. I was so sick. I was actually dry heaving as I tried to go. I googled that as well. They said it's a result of toxins building up in your stomach and the stool pushing up against you stomach or large intestine. It was scary and awful.

It is very helpful with that and many poople (I spelled it like that by accident.. It's appropriate. ) I love that Co is still so playful with the gang! It's wonderful to see the love and joy in Vatican city. Yes. You will always be a traveler my friend!!!

They told a story yesterday of a man who was an atheist and was moved, called to go there and stood with a rosary in his hands. It’s a beautiful thing. We have talked about going, I just hope if I can loose 50,60 more pounds my body will be up for it. I know there has to be a lot of walking I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland also. That’s my heritage, where my mom’s family is from. I’d also love to just go to Canada. You are very lucky to have traveled so much!!

We made it to the weekend and the weather is lovely! 3. The friendships we have on this board. I love you ladies so much! Each and every one of you are so very special to me!! 4. Ken and I went for a short walk again after supper last night! We don’t go far, but we went further last night than the night before so that’s PROGRESS. Ken uses his rollator in case he needs to stop and sit down! 5. This day and all it has to offer me! God is good!!

It is wonderful to have you all in my life. I love how we share the ups and the downs, too of life. That''s our true friendships, for sure. Glad you and ken can go for walks. I sometimes use a rollator, too. We call it a 'wheelie'. My mom had a walker... my has wheels. Thus it's a wheelie.
