Really just an update Posted by Paula on 6/26/2025, 6:40 am, in reply to "Thursday Grats?" I remain in so much pain. They just helped me up to toilet. Each morning, you look for any signs of improvement. I could not do the final push t stand up. They had to pull me which led to a cry session. I am so frustrated and scared. The pain is horrible. Meds help to just knock me out. Not being able to move myself in my bed is such a problem with positioning. The ECCO was to check for infected blood around my heart. They have one more type of infection they trying to identify and treat. All the energy I have left.

I don’t understand why they can’t get the pain under control better other than to knock you out and am still worried about you at home. I just want you to get better.

Ask the doctor.

When my sister Peggy had her first back surgery she was in so much pain and couldn’t stand it. She was ready to give up and talked to the Dr about it and they switched her pain meds which she said made all the difference in the world! It’s worth trying. I pray you find some relief soon. Love you and hate you are feeling this way. (((((HUGS)))))
