The easiest way to avoid regrets is to ask yourself this question, "If not now, when?" It's a powerful way to put life and our decisions about how we spend our time into perspective"

Thanks, for the shoutout.Paula.
Murray is home now. It's been a crazy 7 days. They sent him home with the 2 kinds of oxygen things. One is a concentrator he can pull around the house and a canaster container to use sparingly.... if the concentrator isn't working.
He is doing better than a week ago, thankfully. He is very crabby from not smoking for a week. Smoked a cigarette when he got home. Sadly, I knew he would.
He must have many outpatient tests in the next few weeks. He has 5 new medications and 3 taken away. They might need to do a lung biopsy depending on what they learn from a nuclear lung test.
He is making up his own rules about things he needs to do. I can't let him do it. Example= said he didn't need to use oxygen in the car going home. Thankfully... the nurse said he HAD to use oxygen in the car. It will be a struggle. I may have to go a little 'nurse Ratchet'
He just got up with rolling concentrator Oxygen into the kitchen to make himself a sandwich.
We have to make lots of appointments.
I got lots of help with rides back and forth to the hospital. Alex took laundry to laundramat, wwatered the plants and moved some boxes to the basement. My neighbor weeded our garden. So grateful. I am really happy and proud about me, too... that I was strong enough to keep all the differnt things together and coordinated. I am stronger than I think and feel good about it. I was exhausted by the end of the day.
Glad he is home.
Very glad to hear he is home

I’m glad he’s home. Sadly nicotine is a horrible addiction. I’m sorry for all you’re going through
I’m glad he’s home…

Thank you for the update. I am glad that Murray is home. Men! So many think they get to make the rules and/or refuse to believe that they are sick.
Be nurse Ratchet if you need to, until he gets clued in that it is best for him.
We could have told you that you were strong enough to do what it took; we see it daily, but I know what you mean about not feeling it at times like this.
Hugs and Prayers

Thank you for the update! I've been worried!
If you have to be "Nurse Ratched," you do what you have to do! I'm surprised about the smoking. When that happened to my husband, the doctor said no more smoking, and I went home and threw away all the cigarettes and ash trays before he was released from the hospital. The doctor sent him home with a patch and he hasn't smoked since.
