Question for you all…help me decide… Posted by Cindy on 8/26/2025, 8:15 pm I talked to Cindyh about this the other day-but am curious…do you have your microwave over your range? I am trying to decide if I want to get one that is OTR (over the range) or just keep it on my countertop or get a microwave cart to put it on. What do you have and do you like it there?

For one I am short enough that it is hard to see in them there and very hard to take things out of. The second reason is that they require so much cleaning to not get gummed up underneath from the things that splash or steam and I am trying to destress my life. I do like them built-in with a cabinet above them like the ones that go over the sink when there is no window there.,

I am a couple of inches shorter than you, and I have short arms. Add to that the NM disease, sometimes my arms give out when holding weight over my head. It is a recipe for disaster. I just hate them. LikeI said it is personal.
