Event monitor was normal except all the extra beats. She’s ordered an ultrasound for the legs just to rule out that as a cause for swelling but the thinks the extreme high BP started the snowball of events. She wants me to water exercise 3x a week for BP and keep up w meds of course. So much relief that I’m OK. Thank you God All of you for having my back during this ordeal On my way to Columbia. Have an appointment with Shoulder surgeon tomorrow. The one who did the hydrodilation in January. The shoulder is popping like crazy. Now please don’t let this be something serious

He said I did not need a replacement (thank goodness). My rotator cuff did have a very small tear. I have not injured it so I’m hoping it did not go ahead and tear. The surgeon in the town that I live in did surgery 2 years ago to cut the bicep tendon and went ahead and removed arthritis. But I don’t feel he was a good surgeon and I don’t trust him. So I got a 2nd opinion in January and he’s highly specialized in shoulders. That’s who I’m going to tomorrow again.

This is a great time to build "systems" so that you never get the bad ECHOs or other heart tests. I hope the shoulder is just whatever band that is in the shoulder, sliding over a joint, making the noise. I had the popping once, and that is all it was. Rest, then PT took care of it. Fingers crossed.

A person on the 360 Sleeve Facebook group suggested adding decaf coffee and a lot of ice to the Optifast and blending it and we've got a winner! 2) very few bed bugs left. We've got a yeast trip out, couple of sticky strips and Ray sprayed both our reclining chairs with Raid last night. We're keeping a very close eye on things 3) Ray has my recumbent bike set up in the corner of the living room directly diagonal from TV. I know I should be now but I will for sure be using it post-op 4) got to give away 5 $25 gift cards to listeners yesterday to a local restaurant. Had over 55 texters within minutes which always makes me happy as it shows me that people are tuned in and listening! 5) wasn't hungry at all yesterday - had 3 GATORADE ZERO throughout the day. I know plain water is better but I don't like it So those 3 GZ counted for 6 of the water I had to get into me

Once you get through today and tomorrow, the worst parts will probably be in your thoughts, and you CAN control them or at least distract them. You are doing great! I made a half-gallon packet of True drink mix in a gallon jug by mistake and it made such a good flavored water that I kept doing it With True and Crystal Light.

Mine Posted by Paula on 9/9/2025, 9:58 am, in reply to "Tuesday Grats?" Got scheduled for a Covid and flu shot. Want them done now so that, if I go to Spain, I'm covered. I had Covid last time I was in Barcelona. Contracted it in Paris and it blossomed in Spain. Plan is to end home nursing next week which means I can go to PT. Very happy about this. My pants are all falling off me so I started looking through ALL the clothes that have hung in my closet for a few years. I have a bunch of stuff bought for, 'when I lose weight.' Found 3 pair of pants, size 16W (!!!!) that fit! The waist is a little tight in one of them but, even a 16W (not the same as a regular 16) is baggy in the butt! Also, I bought a couple tops from online Belks in the late Spring. They were too small but I really liked them, so I kept them. I put one on for telehealth yesterday and it slid right on. I love it. It's probably still a 3x. Delta's nephew is banged up but ok. T-bones often have a very different outcome.

He is pretty bad, but he knows how bad T-bones are, too, being a hospital nurse, and he says that as bad as he is, he is just grateful that it is all things that heal. MOST OF ALL, THE CLOTHES! How thrilling to be losing your pants and fitting into size 16 pants! My big butt hasn't been able to wear a 16 since I weighed 165 pounds. I am so excited for you that I am doing a happy dance.
