Tuesday Gratitudes Posted by Delta on 9/23/2025, 11:09 pm, in reply to "Tuesday gratitudes…." My hands and lower arms have not been having spasms too badly for a couple of hours. So grateful for any parts that work. Heating pads and heated mattress pads help the worst of the spasms some so that I can at least get back and forth to the bathroom. Talked to my cousin who I am so close to today. She is feeling better and planning to come this weekend for several days. So grateful that she is still with us to come. She hasn't been here in over two years. Poppy has been acting more like herself last night and today. Her incision looks good, no redness or pus showing. She started acting off last week and going outside every few minutes but not peeing. Thought she had a UTI so took her to vet. She had 5 kidney stones too large to pass so she had to have surgery. My mother had not felt good for a while but for the past two weeks, she has been feeling good, going all over the place and living the good life.

I’ve noticed that after walking 5 minutes on the treadmill before work that when I get up from my desk at work my joints don’t ache like they used to before I started walking before work! How cool is that? I do my in bed stretches before I get up that helps, but I guess walking on the treadmill gets my joints warmed up enough that it really helps!! So grateful. 3. Met with my contractor at Lowe’s and picked up a few odds and ends we need for the kitchen. He’s a good guy and always looking out for bargains! Love that! 4. Paula is planning for her trip! So excited for her!! 5. My appliances will be here on Thursday! So exciting- and yes, I realize I have mentioned this a million times-but I’m just so darn excited!! Lol. Thx my sweet friends for putting up with me!

Mine Posted by Paula on 9/23/2025, 10:17 am, in reply to "Tuesday gratitudes…." My PT therapist is awesome! She is a more recent grad but she is thorough, direct and kind. I am in worse shape than I even thought I was. Will do my PT exercises everyday between now and my trip and will go to PT 2x week. Ordered Carin's birthday presents. I spurged. I am having a cake and 4 Chicago deep-dish pizzas delivered Friday as well as a wall plaque Pretty sure I will have a gain tomorrow. I have to learn from this. Krista is having her surgery today. This will be a new beginning for her!

Carin!!!! Posted by Paula on 9/23/2025, 9:43 pm, in reply to "I’m confused…" The pizzas are from Unos which is the classic Chicago deep-dish pizzas. Ate a lot of them when aI still lived there. I googled 'on line bakeries' because I wanted to send her a birthday cake. She always has to make her own! I sent her one last year, too. Remember when I was dying for that chocolate multilayer came covered in swirls of pink butter cream pink roses? Well, if I can't have it, she can! The site was Goldbelly and, for some reason they had the pizzas,too! It will all be delivered Friday. Her birthday is Monday.
