Christmas Brunch will be at Meghan's parent's home. They will make the usual things. But, will have a piece of chicken and potatoes for me. I don't do dairy and spice. That is very nice of them. I am not really comfortable with them going to all that fuss. But, they are very wonderful people. I offered to bring things to eat for my self. I usually bring roasted rainbow carrots. I found Princess Molly's brush... finally. She is very happy about it. Me too. my bubble lights You wonderful ladies....

My Tuesday Grats Posted by delta on 12/23/2025, 11:18 am, in reply to "Tuesday Grats?" The rest day yesterday did the trick. The two youngest boys both wanted to spend the night last night. They are only a few months apart in age and are growing up almost as close as brothers, which is great because one doesn't have any brothers. I love watching them create new coffee or hot chocolate drinks, as well as inventive snacks. Having the house to myself for a while. I miss my time alone since my husband retired. My husband and the boys are out doing "manly things" (yes, that is a quote from the 15-year-old) since it is so warm. I found my great-grandson a huge rug for his room since they don't have carpets in their new apartment. It is similar to one that the boys had here when small, with a village, lots of roads, and even a train track. He has wooden cars that they said he has spent hours playing with since it came in yesterday. I am going to try to find him a wooden train to run on. My coffee maker has a pod to make my own coffee in. My donut shop decaf has been blowing out and getting grounds in my coffee since I opened it. It is one of those large boxes of pods. I am halfway through, and only one has not blown. I started using a filter in my cup and rinsing the pod holder every time, which is a pia. I have a second large box, so I gave up and got it out. It did the same thing. When I went back and lifted the lid to clean it out, it blew out all over my face and chest. Thankfully, it had cooled down or it could have been a disaster. I give up. I am opening them and putting them in the filter basket from now on or going back to brewed coffee.

They also like to stay in the old boys' room because it has two queen-sized beds for their long legs and two stations to set up their gaming consoles on. They have their own little kingdom in there.

Got rid of a desk, TV and stereo stand. My husband is the fastest, most efficient person I know. We were in and out of there in less than an hour 3) $50 Sobey's card from radio station 4) Hut boss msged me this morning to drop by for a "little something" she has for me. Nice to be appreciated 5) listening to KLOVE Christian radio. Love the morning show!~

Every day this week, I have vowed to get lay off sqewts but they keep coming...from neighbors, Bill's church and my work Secret Santa gave me a box of beautiful homemade candy, brownies, fudge stuff. I have flunked each test! 3 clients today and done until Monday. All my Christmas packages got to where they were going on time. I didn’t think one was going to make it. I made slow roasted salmon Monday with a sauce of sour cream, Dijon, lemon zest, capers and a little brine. It was really good. The dogs LOVED it! I got home from work last night. Bill had fed them dinner but they were absolutely going nuts trying to get me to get up. Cosette even tried barking and growling at me (which she soon learned not to do!). They just carried on and on until I warmed my dinner up and they got their share of salmon! I've never seen them so worked up over food! These 2 knuckleheads love shrimp and salmon. Carin said I've made them too bougie! LOL Delta's get together sounded so nice. When I was a kid, there was too much alcohol. When my sister took over the holidays, everyone had to be on their 'best' behavior so it wasn't much fun.

It is great that your Posted by Delta on 12/23/2025, 10:38 am, in reply to "Mine" presents all got there on time. It is getting harder and harder. The salmon sounds wonderful. We have started trying to have salmon at least once a week, and I am so ready for it this week. The dog's reaction was priceless. Thanks for the mention. We are all too crazy to try for best behavior. It seems to end badly when families drink together in the Deep South; it's already started on the local news, so we usually try to avoid that.
