Wednesday Grats

I have internet today. It was off most of the day yesterday and part of the day Tuesday. I don't know what they are doing to it or how long they will be turning it off.
My husband seems himself after he got some sleep. He passed out on me on Monday. Thankfully, he was on the floor putting new plugs in the wall and just slumped over on the wall. He roused up and called me before he hit the floor. When I got there, he was lying back against the wall at an odd angle and couldn't sit up by himself. I got him into a sitting position against the wall, got him a small glass of Orange juice, and his blood checking kit because he thought he had gone low. His sugar was at 97. We don't know what happened. He threw a fit about me calling an ambulance because he was feeling better. I helped him out of the floor and to a chair in the living room. He ended up sleeping the rest of the afternoon and most of the night. Maybe he was just exhausted. We have been overdoing it. He has a chest PET scan scheduled for next Monday, so we probably see if it could have anything to do with his heart. It has been 10 years since he had CABG surgery so they scheduled it at his last cardio check-up.
We are working on 4 houses right now, so we are both exhausted. The gratefulness is that he is hiring a lot of it out (I thought I would never see the day, so I am both grateful and a little unsettled), and I think that he might be willing to hire even more of it out now. We have two rental houses we are putting on the market because one tenant relocated, and the other managed to get a loan to buy a house. We are also working on the old lake house to get it ready for the market, and on the new house to get it ready for warmer weather. We pretty much want to be done with all of them within a month and that is a big ask.
My mother had a regular check-up with one of her kidney docs. They found that she has a UTI and got her on meds. I am grateful for the serendipity of it. Usually, she doesn't know she has one until she gets down completely and often ends up in the hospital.
I have had more energy and a little more stamina lately. I was sorting my meds for the week today and realized that I only have one more vitamin D to take on Friday. I'll bet that's why I feel better.

It’s warmer outside today and not windy.
Working on my snacking. That is so hard for me.
Trying to get extra rest today. My body feels like it needs it
All of you

It is warmer here but for the past several days we have had high winds that blow cold. Enjoy your good weather!
Good for you noticing something that you can correct and doing it. Instead of completely shutting it down is there something healthy that you will not binge on that you could keep around in case you really need a snack? For me it is unsalted almonds. I don't really care for them as much as other nuts so I will often do without and don't tend to overeat them if I do snack but I have "snacks" in the house so it don't set off those voices in my head.
Speaking of almonds

Have you tried the great value cocoa dusted almonds?? Oh my goodness. They are so good. I get them occasionally and count out the 22. So satisfying. Easy to stop at a serving.
individual packs of them already counted out that I got. I loved them. Then suddenly I couldn't find them. Finally stopped looking. I need to see if they are back. I didn't realize Walmart had started carrying them. I had just started keeping a big bag of plain in the freezer.

Making it through 2 long days in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. Easy day today. I definitely am more energized and focused when I'm actually at the office.
Caught up on my notes.
A few really good days. Then, a bad one. Usually knowing WIW is the next day keeps me on track. Not yesterday!
Lovin' my baby CPAP
Hopefully Krista's dad will have surgery today and be on his way to recovery. Watching our parents suffer in their old age is so hard. Most have been good people, with good values, hard workers...It doesn't seem fair to have them feel fear, struggle and suffer. Love to Mr. Carlson today.
Those darn notes

Glad that you are caught up. I always hated doing notes and usually ended up staying late most days so that it wouldn't back up. The more I had the more excuses I could find not to start. We didn't have laptops for work back then so I couldn't do them at home. Now that you are caught up you can relax a little.
Glad

Watching my Mom suffer was so hard. I wanted to do it for her. The not being able to do anything made me feel so helpless. But I was there for her and that’s what she needed.
