He finally got over his sickness 3 days ago. Several dr visits later Thursday I had my 1st PT. The evaluation. She said I can stretch it very well. We will see Tuesday when the work starts. I walked 1/2 mile today. Missed all of you

Of course every time I wanted to do anything I had to go up and down stairs at John’s brothers house. And going in and out. Just sore. I honestly am shocked at how out of shape I have gotten! Speaking of commodes-I never knew they had this product until Ken needed a commode-but they have liners for those commodes that are worth every penny! Gone are the days of having to dump and wash out a bucket after each use! You just tie the liner off and throw it in the trash. And each liner has a pad that you put at the bottom that traps the liquid like a sponge! Wish I would have invented them!

My five… Posted by Cindy on 3/21/2026, 12:13 pm, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1. A beautiful sunny day here in Kansas! The high today is 98 degrees! How crazy is that? It drops to a high of 69 tomorrow. 2. A good weight loss zoom meeting this morning. Love my little group. There are 6 of us that meet on Saturdays at 7:30. 3. One of the girls on there said she has lost 40 pounds since December 20 by using the 80/20 plan where 80% of her plate is protein and 20% of her plate is green vegetables. She can have some fats but no fruit or dairy in the beginning. I am going to concentrate on eating more protein and heaven knows I need to eat more veggies. Carbs are still controlling my day. Grateful to have choices. 4. Love my weekends. Time to relax and spend with my favorite guy! 5. The friendships we have on here. Love you ladies.

We must be getting Posted by Delta on 3/22/2026, 10:49 pm, in reply to "My five…" the same system a day later. Our temps were in the 90s today and will be in the 60s tomorrow. I have been following a lady who has lost over 100 pounds in 10 months, concentrating on protein and fiber. She doesn't always eat a lot of meat, though, except for chicken. I am interested to see what you try and how you do.

Five for me... Posted by Joan on 3/21/2026, 7:11 am, in reply to "Saturday Gratitude..." 1. I made an appointment with our tax man. Keep your fingers crossed for us. Hoping for the best. 2. I made an appointment to have our A/C serviced before hurricane season. 3. No cavities from my dentist appointment. I consider that a personal achievement because of my xerostomia. 4. I went to Church on Thursday and celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!
