However, I am sore and bruised. My hip is screaming at me. - I took Uber to the Meijer (groceries and everything else) I brought my rollerator instead of my cane . Intending to use a motorized cart. So I did minimal shopping... a few garden plants and an RX. All that walking... my hip is screaming again. Grateful that my pt exercises help a bit and trying to ice 3 times a day. I cancelled the garden ladies who were going to weed and plant a few things. I didn't go to Alex's girlfriends graduation party. Sad but wise. Trying to take care of myself. You wonderful ladies. Love you all.

My five… Posted by Cindy on 6/14/2026, 11:17 am, in reply to "Sunday grats..." 1. Quiet Sunday mornings. Love them! 2. We had a storm with lots of thunder, lighting, and rain last night but thankfully no crazy high winds or tornados. Thank you God! 3. My sister Peggy and her husband Mike came over to see us yesterday when they were in town. 4. Curbside pickup from Walmart! Love that. 5. My willingness to continue on my weight loss journey even when the scales showed I am up again this week. We had an all day meeting at work filled with chex mix and M&M’s not to mention pizza for lunch and I indulged. Ugh I knew it would show up on the scale and it did. I know I can do better and need to. Grateful that I am still willing to try.

Five for me... Posted by Joan on 6/14/2026, 9:31 am, in reply to "Sunday grats..." 1. Sunday - Thank goodness I can go to Church! I don't know what I would do without it! 2. I don't know if I have mentioned this, but I have begun taking a probiotic. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to feel any differently, but I don't. The only reason I started taking it is because my husband came home from a doctor's appointment and said his doctor told him to start taking it. LOL I kid you not. That's how shallow I am! LOL 3. I know I have mentioned this before, but I love how Cindy faithfully posts a Thought for the Day. It's not as easy as she makes it look! 4. Broccoli - I love steamed broccoli. 5. FSF family and friends! I pray for all of you, your families, your friends in my daily prayers... and thank you for praying for me! Maintenance is a forever endeavor!

I am not a fan of steamed broccoli! I can eat it raw, but any kind of heat on it makes it smell terrible!! I’m the same way with cauliflower. I like it raw and can make a pizza crust with it riced, but to just steam it (even if you put cheese sauce on it) smells terrible in my opinion and I won’t eat it! LOL AND I am sure taking a probiotic can’t hurt anything!! Wishing you a wonderful day!
