What I like about this over store-bought or coffee shop iced coffees is that I have control over the outcome, such as using a favorite sweetener instead of what comes in the pre-made, and I can also use decaf or a mix of regular and decaf to control the caffeine. I sometimes also use a squirt of sugar-free syrup instead of creamer. It is very versatile. If you are going to a potluck or having company that doesn't care about sugar or fat, use real sugar and whole milk, and most people love it.

What I like about this is that it is so versatile. The lady that I got the recipe from makes a gallon or two to take to places for other people who like coffeehouse sweet drinks. I am going to keep a gallon at the house this weekend when my grandboys will be here. They won't drink coffee but will do iced sweetness (liquid dessert). They are all tall and skinny with fast metabolism, so they can handle it.
