We use Premier Inns frequently and have done for many years. The big let down for me has always been the catering side, until recently very little GF choice, a recent stop did produce a separate GF menu, not a big choice but better.
All the restaurants visited over the last few years however have become increasingly scruffy, Whitbread who own Premier Inn and Beefeater, Table Table, Thyme, Brewers Fayre etc hyave announced they are going to sell the restaurant chain, best thing to do to be honest as they reflect badly on the Premier Inn side of the business.
Not every body who stays in the hotel eats there I suppose but a lot of people do as there isn't always a nearby alternative.
My dearest wish would be that M&B brewery restaurant chain Miller & Carter is far superior and have an excellent GF menu.
Thank goodness for The Lounges chain that I have reported on many times, recently had a holiday in North Norfolk and found the 'Poco Lounge' in Kings Lynn.
