Tat worked well enough. I don't currently know the exact model, though a similar pen called the Lifetime was made in the mid 60s (the term "Lifetime" ran through Sheaffer history from the 1920s onward). It would *really* help to have more photos, specifically of the nib. However, just looking at the barrel makes me *think* it is not a slim model pen. One thing you can do, before buying a converter (unless you just want to be adventurous): Sheaffer still makes ink cartridges and if you pick u a pack and one of them fits (it should) then you can go after a Sheaffer piston converter.
