More so, because Pelikan no longer make “exotic” nibs, only regular standard F, M, and B.
Old stock Pelikan non-standard nibs, currently, are expensive, just took a look at nibs.com and a M800 nib and feed is priced for more than 450 US dollars
They have their own resident “nibmeister” and if you want something different you have to go to their wish-nib and factory tour.

Pelikan feeds are well designed and fully problem free - at least in the entire Souveran line and in even in some old time high school Pelikano pens, unfortunately modern Pelikan school pens nibs are not so good .
