It is just another 're-branding' company, putting out lower-quality pens to hop on the youth-oriented fountain pen / analog-style fad. They are all overpriced for what they are, and focus on colors and styles that will catch the eye of people who don't really know fountain pens. A quick buck with likely very little-to-no customer support. It's been done with Conklin and other brands, and it is a real shame. Fortunately, there are other, actual new brands making good pens these days, but I still see a lot of new users with regrets a few months after purchasing many of these "New X Brand" pens.
