There are a lot of Indian made pens, like the Click brand whose fountain pens are much better values than Esterbrook or the new Wearever pens. If one truly wanted to resurrect Wearever, putting that name on a $5 Chinese made fountain pen and selling it for $5 would have been a true resurrection. As I recall, both the cartridge and lever fill Wearever Pennants listed for all of $1.00. I also remember the Wearever long lead mechanical pencil. It was nowhere near as good as the Scripto which it resembled. Now both of them are collectors items.

From what I found, Colorado Pens and Atlas Stationery in Chicago are selling the new Wearevers. They are also available direct from the maker or his ebay site. I wonder if we will be seeing a Wearever table at the DC Pen Show.
