Thanks again. I couldn't remember the name of the 'Wayback machine', having only heard about it but never used it. Wasn't sure what its limitations were.

Based on what you have said it makes me wonder if the way forward would be to set up a new website, get as much stuff from the old as possible, and perhaps request the original info providers to resubmit (if they are still around of course).

Also, yes, not all archived material is relevant beyond historical interest. So there is that to consider.
