Hey pen friends,

Time for me to be involved elsewhere, but I wanted to drop an image to sign off. I was guided by a mentor early in my pen interest days, who suggested that no matter what pens interested me, trying to focus would allow for a deeper collection and understanding.

I collected in a general nature, trying to find a few iconic models from many of the main manufacturers, but I had found some Moore pens that tickled me and since they were a bit under the radar, I could find them a bit easier and less expensive. I made them my main sub-focus and have collected those for about ten years, and I'm now slowing my acquisitions of pens. A couple weeks back I saw something pop up on eBay and thought "that is just the ticket" and bid on it and fortunately won. I chatted with the seller and now have a new pen friend in Pete Kirby (Dallas Pen Show). Anyway, when this arrived I loaded up some of the Moore collection to send him a photo with thanks, and that is what I share below.
