So im really hoping for Alexandra's Kokoshnik tiara. A piece that is not very strongly associated to the late queen but still is a regal jewel fit for a queen.
I personally think that there will not be a great leap into QEII's jewellery vault so early on.
In fact, I think that maybe until the Coronation of Charles III , Camilla will keep things low key and use the jewellery that she is familiar with.
I think that the public is still pretty emotional about QEII's passing and if Camilla was to move to quickly, it might upset some people.
Camilla unfortunately still has some detractors who would love to pounce all over her for "not being able to wait to get her hands on The Queen's jewels".
I think that, from an optics point of view, waiting until after the coronation to use the queenly jewels may be a more delicate way of handling this issue.
I may be wrong but it would not surprise me if this was the case as Camilla I feel is modest and would not want to overplay her position - even if she is technically entitled.
