As for the name perhaps the could name it Queen Marys and Queen Camilla crown. Only Queen Camillas crown i find wrong.
we’ll see if it actually fits her for Parliament, because it looked quite large on Camilla’s head even with the Cap of Maintenance tucked under it. I wonder if it would slip down too far.
Queen Camilla might possibly wear the "new" crown without arches for State Openings of Parliament. With the Cullinan V brooch in the central cross element that would be acceptable.
The unfortunate rejigged arches can be left off forever. I doubt the scrolls of the arches can be repaired effectively.
In design and appearance Queen Mary's crown was the most beautiful one with a floating effect at the top.
This crown could be renamed. It is certainly not Queen Mary's any more. (I have copied the current details in the Royal Collection online portrayal to save the record.)
It could become Queen Camilla's Crown 2023.
Or Queen Consort's Crown 2023 maybe.
