The Queen should have worn no necklace but the waterfall Brooch on her Sash.

A nice combination of jewels for both ladies. Too bad no other members of the family attended this banquet.
I think Mathilde's earrings and necklace work well with the tiara and i like the Luxembourg aquamarines. Maria Teresa combined them with the Belgian scroll tiara. That tiara was a gift to her late mother-in-law and is the one piece of the Luxembourg collection that looks really good on her so a fitting choice.
Im not so thrilled about that bundle of fabric she is wearing over her gown and Mathilde's gown though very glittering looks a little tight even before the dinner has started.... Previous Message
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is wearing the Belgian Scroll Tiara with the Luxembourg Aquamarine Parure and one of the Nassau Rose Brooches while Queen Mathilde is wearing the Nine Provinces Tiara , her Diamond Fringe Earrings and a Diamond Necklace, for tonight’s State Banquet at the Royal Chateau of Laeken !
