Royal Tiaras at tonight’s State Banquet at the Royal Chateau de Laeken

Grand Duchess Maria Teresa is wearing the Belgian Scroll Tiara with the Luxembourg Aquamarine Parure and one of the Nassau Rose Brooches while Queen Mathilde is wearing the Nine Provinces Tiara, her Diamond Fringe Earrings and a Diamond Necklace, for tonight’s State Banquet at the Royal Chateau of Laeken! @WDehandschutter

A nice combination of jewels for both ladies. Too bad no other members of the family attended this banquet. I think Mathilde's earrings and necklace work well with the tiara and i like the Luxembourg aquamarines. Maria Teresa combined them with the Belgian scroll tiara. That tiara was a gift to her late mother-in-law and is the one piece of the Luxembourg collection that looks really good on her so a fitting choice. Im not so thrilled about that bundle of fabric she is wearing over her gown and Mathilde's gown though very glittering looks a little tight even before the dinner has started.... The Queen should have worn no necklace but the waterfall Brooch on her Sash. Previous Message A nice combination of jewels for both ladies. Sophie of Hohenberg's tiara

At least one more tiara those worn by Duchess Sophie de Hohenberg , Baroness de Podesta. I never saw her tiara before. Is she wearing the Starry Cross ? her husband ?? Prince Lorenz

Prince Lorenz was seen among the guests and not as a member of our Royal Family standing next to our Queen. I am very upset concerning Astrid, Claire and Laurent. Previous Message Prince Lorenz was spotted at the main table at the State Banquet, wearing white-tie and the Sash and Breast Star of his Luxembourg Order. Princess Astrid on the other hand was not seen. Was she perhaps occupied elsewhere? It was indeed a shame that none of the other members of the Belgian Royal Family could be present, especially given the close family relationship between the two Royal Families.

They should have worn the Blue Sash of the lower Order , Princess Astrid her Aoste tiara and Princess Claire her second tiara.
