The floral aigrette can also be taken abroad Previous Message
As it stands Mary only has three personal tiaras: the Ruby set, her wedding tiara and the diamond necklace/tiara she bought. All the pieces from the Royal collection and family foundation are only at her disposal as Queen consort.
With four children they will need more personal pieces or change the rules for the family foundation. She can only take the Pearl Poire tiara and her personal tiaras abroad for state visits. In time she'll need some personal pieces when Frederik abdicates or she survives him.
Queen Margrethe still has a few tiaras but she needs them herself.
As it stands there is no decent piece for a crown princess. With a 19 year old crown prince the arrival of his wife is probably 10 to 15 years in the future so there is time. Previous Message
Only one more personal tiara will be needed, as Pc Christian's future wife will be Crown Princess and later Queen consort, and as such she will have acess to the main tiaras.
I actually always taught that Mary would bye yet another tiara so the younger 3 children would get one each. Or, the King and Queen could follow the example of their swedish cousins and get a new piece for their future daughter-in-law when Pc Vincent gets married.
