Perhaps QM will leave the modest little turquoise tiara, and the slightly more impressive Baden Palmette, to King Frederick for Izzy and Josephine’s use someday. The Naasut tiara probably won’t strike much interest among the royal ladies who survive QM, as the bright yellowness of 24 karat gold is hard to coordinate with other jewels. Maybe it can become a museum piece, it certainly is artistic.
And the Golden Poppies? the best I can say is break up the contraption and made poppy brooches and hair ornaments for everyone. Previous Message

As it stands Mary only has three personal tiaras: the Ruby set, her wedding tiara and the diamond necklace/tiara she bought. All the pieces from the Royal collection and family foundation are only at her disposal as Queen consort.
With four children they will need more personal pieces or change the rules for the family foundation. She can only take the Pearl Poire tiara and her personal tiaras abroad for state visits. In time she'll need some personal pieces when Frederik abdicates or she survives him.
Queen Margrethe still has a few tiaras but she needs them herself.
As it stands there is no decent piece for a crown princess. With a 19 year old crown prince the arrival of his wife is probably 10 to 15 years in the future so there is time. Previous Message
