is it me or has The Princess of Orange blossomed into a woman truly polished and poised? It seems like just yesterday she was so shy, I love how she has progressed. She’s been flawless lately! Previous Message
The Dutch King and Queen as well as the Princess of Orange welcomed more than 40 leaders of NATO countries at their private residence in The Hague, Huis ten Bosch. Maxima wore long diamond earrings with pear shaped diamonds, a diamond bracelet created from Queen Juliana's Dutch Indies bracelet and Queen Emma's diamond Aigrette as a brooch. The Aigrette is said to have been a wedding gift from Grand Duchess Sophie of Saxen-Weimar-Eisenach, the sister of King Willem III in 1879.
The Princess of Orange wore a pair of diamond figure eight earrings created in the 1960's from Queen Wilhelmina's National Wedding Gift Parure (1901) and an open work or trellis bracelet with a floral motif lock from Queen Wilhelmina.
