I did not get a good view of Maria Teresa's tiara. We know the central stone can be changed from a sapphire to an aquamarine so if she now used an emerald the combination would work very well.
I was happy to see that the Chaumet emerald tiara looked well on Claire so there is hope for that piece if worn by someone with a rounder rather than angular face.

Agree. Stephanie killed it with her understated beauty. The Belgian Scroll looks perfect on her and very appropriate. Its not about her either but her husband really. Maxima showed who’s boss when it comes to BENELUX jewels. Elisabeth looked lovely but that high delicate tiara is just not very impressive. Amalia made a perfect combination we never saw before. Queen Emma’s tiara with Emerald jewels… perfect. The Emerald Tiara is not very impressive and frankly a bit of an odd design so this clever. The combo of MT I did not get, at all. Previous Message
I know today was about Guillaume V and Stephanie but when it comes to jewels and style it was the day of Elisabeth and Amalia. Both young women impressed with their choices of outfits and jewels. Very stylish and individual but both equally lovely to see.
Stephanie always had a slightly matronly appearance but she stuck to what she feels comfortable in and what suits her. Elisabeth and Amalia are half her age so I get she does not try to compete with them. She and Guillaume were probably upstaged in dress and jewels but they made sure they were the centre by their authenticity. I think that is why they are so popular within Luxembourg and among the various Royal relatives. Previous Message

Amalia in a green dress with the favourite tiara of her grandmother the diamond tiara of Queen Emma without the stars. Good for her another tiara!! She added the brooch and earrings of the emerald set to it.
Maxima is in the large sapphire tiara and with the sapphire bow brooch.

The new Grand Duchess has remained in the same dress as during the day events but has added the Belgian Scroll tiara to her jewels. The new Grand Duke has changed into his evening gala uniform. Previous Message

Princess Alexandra is not attending or changed at the palace but in her advanced state of pregnancy she may be forced to rest.

The Accession to the throne programme will take place over several days: on Friday 3 October, the official ceremonies will be held in Luxembourg City; Saturday 4 October will be devoted to a large public celebration at several symbolic locations throughout the country; and on Sunday 5 October, the Grand Ducal Family will participate in a Te Deum celebrated at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Luxembourg. These events will be broadcast live on television and online.
