It could have been a gift to Tatiana for the birth of their child....anything is possible..but I highly rule our "borrowing".
--Previous Message-- : Thanks. Very interesting. I find it hard to : believe the Grimaldis might have purchased : an antique fringe tiara. When Albert bought : new pieces for his wife they were all : modern. I don't think his father ever bought : old pieces either. But I could be wrong. And : if Tatiana's family bought a fringe tiara : they sure must have very high hopes for the : future of their new son in law. : A loan perhaps, yes but if the Sovereign : Prince and his sister feel this marriage is : of such importance why did they not lend her : one of the Grimaldi heirlooms like they did : to Charlene who by the way looked very : modest compared to this lady. Strange. But : then again, what is strange in Monaco!? : : : : --Previous Message-- : Its possible..but unless we see a better : closeup of Tatiana's tiara, its hard to say : : We need to wait for pictures to be published : in the magazines because so far only Getty : photo agency is the one exclusive to the : wedding pictures...which I find it strange, : considering how many photographers were : there. : : : : : : : --Previous Message-- : Maybe a bit far-fetched , but there's still : the possibility of an unexpected outing of : the long forgotten fringe tiara from the : French crown jewels: : : The jewel was still around in a private : collection in New York in the 60's. : : : : : : :
