Neither of the two infantas I now think... Archived Message

I was uncertain as to the Angelfire site picture of the portuguese infanta.
It was referred there as Maria Adelaide; I discarded that almost imediately because the lady in the pic did not look at all like her, nor the atendance of a glitering event was a known part of her personality. In fact the lady in the picture looks more like her sister Infanta Filipa whom it is known to favour more of these events.
But when I was digging (literally ) in my old archives I found this picture from Corbis:

The caption is from 18th october 1954, during the ball for Infanta Pilar's 18th birthday and coming out in Estoril. The people in the photo are identified as King Umberto of Italy and Maria Teresa de Bragança, daughter of Dom Duarte Nuno.
Well, we know that this last part is obviously wrong since Dom Duarte Nuno had only sons (3)!!! .
The lady is wearing the same hair style, necklace (?) as head ornament on the top of her forehead, aparently the same earrings, and the exact same pendant as necklace, as the picture on the Angelfire site. The dress seems also the same, except she has a loose sleeve in the Corbis pic.
The caption is most certainly referring to Pss Maria Teresa of Orleans-Bragança (1919-2011), one of the most elegant and distinguished royal ladies of her generation. She had a very nice jewelry collection (diamonds, pearls, aquamarines, peridots...). We really should make a thread on her jewelry soon .
I tried to compare the mistery lady picture with a picture of Pss Teresa at around the same time, the best I found was this, as a bride in 1957
I can see strong resemblances, the distinctive arched eyebrows, nose, mouth. The Pss looks thinner in 1954.
Plus, I had also these pictures of Pss Teresa where she seems to be wearing as necklace the diamond jewel she wears as head ornament in 1954. The center of the necklace has a very distinctive round "swirl" motif that can be seen in both pictures; the sides of the necklace can also be seen. The first is from a prewedding event at the Athens wedding of Pss Sophia and Pc Juan Carlos, the second was taken around the time of her wedding in 1957.
Although the Angelfire pic is not very clear, the earrings also apear to be the same.
 
Therefore I now believe the picture on the Angelfire site to be of Pss Maria Teresa of Orleans-Bragança, and not of neither of her portuguese cousins (nor taken at Maria Pia and Alexander wedding).
I would very much like to hear your opinions. Thanks.
