Edit: Sorry, I was too slow - while preparing the enlargments of the brooches, Arthur already posted the same brooch... Thank you for those two pictures of a radiant young Queen - both were unknown to me. I'm convinced it's the same brooch in both pictures, they only look different because of the light and the angle. The jewel looks like the one given to (then) Princess Elizabeth as a birthday present from her parents (photograph of the brooch from royalcollection.org.uk)
