Hugh Roberts worded his entries so carefully, in my view, for many many - all I suppose - jewels in the QD. It was an aspect I noted as soon as I started to read the book. A very professional, dignified and diplomatic handling of highly personal and private family stuff. In my view there are some parts of background stories that are not for public consumption for a range of considerations, and neither should they be, in my view again. I truly enjoy discussing the jewels, as quite distinct from their ownerships. Where gifts and inheritances are indisputably in the public domain that is enough, again in my view.
