Thanks Stefan for providing the information as to who bought the original Cambridge Lovers knot tiara. We will have to keep a watch on upcoming auctions to see if the tiara renters the market.
It is so easy to misread. I thought you had inside information about a sale happening at Sotheby's in the future. ;-)
My copy of Vincent's new book is on its way to me as it was shipped last week.
The picture at the article website,of the Royal Box at George VI's Coronation, is the best quality I have seen and I love how at the bottom of the article the identify the individuals and their jewels sold by Christie's of course!
