I looked at the Google Images to check if Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood, had ever worn this tiara, a wedding gift to her from her father, King George V. It seems she did not wear it at all, did she? Did any lady in her family ever wear it? My apologies are here for you if it had been discussed before. Had she worn her father's wedding bracelet and necklace which were said to go with this tiara?

From "The New York Herald" (New York City, N.Y.) dated February 26, 1922:

I found this Google Image (from Getty Images) of two ladies looking at the same tiara. There is a caption next to it which said it's Princess Mary's wedding tiara.

In addition to these are newspaper articles which mention several other wedding gifts to Princess Mary on her marriage to the Earl of Harewood (then Viscount Lascelles) in February 1922.

From "Richmond Times-Dispatch" (Richmond, VA) dated February 25, 1922:

**Three tiaras are of diamonds and sapphires. One of these is from King George V. Seems there are others of different gems. Quote: "Three of the tiaras are of the diamonds and sapphires." This implied there are other tiaras with different gemstones.

**Queen Mary gave her daughter a brooch consisting of a huge sapphire as the central piece surrounded by clusters of diamonds.

From 'The Washington Herald" (Washington, D.C.) dated February 25, 1922:

**The Prince of Wales gave his sister a bracelet of sapphires and diamonds.

**Queen Alexandra gave her granddaughter a necklace of pearls and emeralds.

**The Duke of York, Prince Henry and Prince George gave their sister a diamond and sapphire ring.

**Women named Mary in Britain gave Princess Mary a rope of pearls from their donation of shillings and sixpences.

**Lord and Lady Inchcape (close friends of Mary and her husband Lord Lascelles) gave Princess Mary a Russian tiara of diamonds (said to be once owned by a grand mogul, ruler of the Golconds.

**Royal Navy gave the Princess a diamond and emerald pendant. The Army gave her a valuable silver antique mirror.

**Silver and gilt jug and tray which were returned to the Royal Family as a wedding present from the Diplomatic Corps were once owned by King George II.

**Viscount Lascelles presented his bride with a sapphire and diamond necklace. "The stones in this work of art are enormous, and from each sapphire, mounted in oval shape, are streamers of diamonds like shining waterfalls."

**The bride and bridegroom got two six-story wedding cakes. Seems the Prince of Wales was in India at the time of the wedding because it said a piece of one of these cakes was saved for him when he returned to Britain from India.

From "The New York Herald" (N.Y.C., N.Y.) dated February 25, 1922:

**Queen Alexandra gave Princess Mary a six-row necklace of pearls, with a drop of emeralds.

**The Prince of Wales gave his sister a golden bracelet set with diamonds and sapphires.

**The Duke of York, Prince Henry and Prince George gave Mary a ring of unique design set with the same stones as their oldest brother.

**The Earl and Countess of Harewood gave their new daughter-in-law a large diamond brooch.

**Mary's aunts, the Princess Royal (Louise), Princess Victoria, and the Queen of Norway gave her a long diamond lace brooch.

**Queen Victoria of Spain gave Princess Mary a large ring.

**From Queen Amelia of Portugal, Mary got a gold bracelet made of one huge ruby and one pearl, with a circle of diamonds as a clasp.

**The Duke of Connaught and Mary's great-aunts gave Mary an ebony and gold antique clock.
