I was just going through the 1976 Shirley Bassey shows and i came across the above song...I have to say it's one of the most emotional songs i have ever heard Shirley sing. Her control, emotion and power are truly phenomenal. I had to watch it a few times over and have been left totally drained.
I was just wondering if she ever sung this at a concert?...I have seen her many times since the 70's but never heard her sing this.
I just listened to Roberta Flack's recording of this which was also amazing.
When i listen to the radio in the car i hear the same songs over and over but songs like this are never heard. What a shame!
