I got in three more classics horror films:
Shadow Of The Cat (1961)- Really enjoyed this one! A little bit unique. Cat witnesses a murder. Said cat is out to get the players that were a party to the killing. Said players were terrified of the cat! Cool old spooky house. I was surprised by how brutal the beginning murder scene was for 1961, although not graphic. I enjoyed the lead actress in this film.
The Man Who Could Cheat Death (1959)- Another familiar plot line about a madman who needs living tissue of his victims to keep on living and defy death. Enjoyable. The lead actor seemed a little eccentric. Christopher Lee stars in a supporting role.
The Black Sleep (1956)- I had read negative reviews on this flick but I wanted to watch it anyway. Too many legends in the cast to pass it up. Bela Lugosi had a terrible part...didn't utter a single line, although he tries. (The Mad Doctor had done a little "work" on him, lol!) Lon Chaney Jr.also had a pretty lackluster part as did John Carradine. I guess Basil Rathbone had the best role. I still enjoyed the film though. Just typical "late night" fair. Nothing superb about it.
