Every indication is that BK was the kindest, gentlest soul. He just did the work, that's all. His daughter, Sara, says he never brought his work home with him. Never talked about any of it except once when BK called her and very enthusiastically suggested that she and her 2 young sons should watch a tv special, How The Grinch Stole Christmas.

There's a new documentary on BK. It's called Boris Karloff: The Man Behind The Monster. I'll have to look for it.
