Yeah, I know we have discussed and watched tv Christmas episodes many times over the seasons and we both have a few of the common staples we always tend to lean toward, so I'll try not to mention those.
To comment though on The Waltons..."The Best Christmas" episode is truely a great one and I like to watch it when I get the chance, my favorite. Never did care much for that "Children's Carol" episode much myself.
Other ones that come to mind that don't get mentioned much is "Cannonball Christmas" from Petticoat Junction and a "Very Merry Christmas" from season one of the Donna Reed Show. I always find Donna Reed to be a very calming show to watch.
Did you ever watch "The Wonder Years", Al? "A Very Cutlip Christmas" has always been one that I liked also. Everyone that likes family tv should view through The Wonders Years at least once.
I'll try to think of some more later.
...And thank you Al for keeping the Grand open. In life there just aren't many friends I know that I can discuss a good old classic movie with, so it is always fun to see what you have been watching and I enjoy sharing the thoughts and excitement when a good one comes my way.
It would be nice if a few other Mayberry minded folks would do the same...but if not, that's ok.
