I hope you are being sarcastic. That just shows the lack of imagination on the artist. Those kind of scenes are the perfect opportunity to impart some personality to the characters. Having him in civvies and choose the clothes he would have. In his last Ms. Marvel issue DeLa Torre had a great couple of panels of Simon talking in the phone to Arana in civvies and he was wearing ragged sportswear, had some pizza boxes laying around ,if I remember well, and some movie posters in his walls. Run with the decoration of the room with some stuff that will make that apartment his apartment. That scene would have never looked like that if Alan Davis, George Perez, or other one of the greats was drawing.
