Simon is a guy who barely tolerates wearing a costume when he's in action, let alone when he's at home watching the cross town classic.
I'm making that official canon, by the way. He was watching the Cubs beat the White Sox when Carol knocked on his door. Nobody can say otherwise.
I genuinely do find it hilarious to see that he was still wearing his wristbands even the following morning, though.
: I hope you are being sarcastic. That just
: shows the lack of imagination on the artist.
: Those kind of scenes are the perfect
: opportunity to impart some personality to
: the characters. Having him in civvies and
: choose the clothes he would have. In his
: last Ms. Marvel issue DeLa Torre had a great
: couple of panels of Simon talking in the
: phone to Arana in civvies and he was wearing
: ragged sportswear, had some pizza boxes
: laying around ,if I remember well, and some
: movie posters in his walls. Run with the
: decoration of the room with some stuff that
: will make that apartment his apartment. That
: scene would have never looked like that if
: Alan Davis, George Perez, or other one of
: the greats was drawing.

: I like how Simon was wearing his costume in
: his apartment for no apparent reason. Like
: he was just sitting around watching Cosby
: reruns in full superhero garb when Carol
: burst in and demanded sex.
