: Okay, I am certain this will ruffle some
: feathers out there but this is something
: that I have always thought to be
: restricting.
:
: Question - Does anybody else think the name
: 'Wonder Man' needs to be changed? I know, I
: know, the name goes all the way back to the
: Silver Age and frickin' issue 9 but is it
: time for a change? Don't get me wrong,
: there are plenty of characters running
: around with silly names but I do feel it is
: somewhat restricting. Does anybody really
: think somebody named 'Wonder Man' would ever
: appear in an Avengers movie? He'd be
: laughed right off the screen. We all know
: that there is a Wonder WOMAN and where her
: popularity ranks but Wonder MAN just doesn't
: seem to cut it anymore, for me, anyways.
: I'm not saying give him some type of trendy
: name a la the 1990's when everything was
: EXTREME but something timeless, iconic.
:
: Just a thought.

I don't think his name needs to be changed. If they did change it the only name I would accept would be Hollywood. Actually the only change I would make is to make Simon much more like Hollywood, cocky and confident. I think the laid back nice guy character gets lost and is considered boring by many people.
