I'll be doing MIGHTY AVENGERS solo.
And the multi-talented Christos N. Gage will be sitting in the big chair on AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE.
To answer the question that a lot of you have been asking:
My usual workload is two books a month. Sometimes it's two and change.
Chris came on board to help me out with AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE because, for a bit I was writing two (or more) issues of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN a month.
To make the "thrice-monthly" schedule (or 36 issues a year) run of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN work, both Marc Guggenheim and myself have often been called upon to work on two or more story lines at a time. A lot of times, though you guys don't get to see it, we're working with two or three different art teams simultaneously. It's just something the team has to do to make sure that ASM ships on time.
Things got particularly tight for my personal schedule when the six part story NEW WAYS TO DIE went in to full swing (while I was wrapping up the PETER PARKER: PAPARAZZI arc). Now that all of NWTD has left house, I've been switching over to two-part and one-part Spidey stories. So... It's going to easier for me to take on another monthly (MIGHTY) and ASM at the same time.
Keep in mind that in the past I've done 2 books a month:
SHE-HULK Vol.1 and SPIDER-MAN/HUMAN TORCH
SPIDER-MAN/HUMAN TORCH and GLA
THE THING and SHE-HULK Vol.2
SHE-HULK Vol.2 and AVENGERS: THE INITIATIVE.
So this is old hat for me.
And,seriously baal, "Amazing Satan-Man?" Not only is that gag over 9 months old, but the current ASM team has put out over 28 issues since taking over the title, and we haven't mentioned the word "Mephisto" once. I think you need to get some new material.
