...and indeed, I don't know if the misprint is in the score PCG consulted, but of course the word ends with an "l" not a "t".
I hope he will not mind my venturing an opinion contradictory to his review regarding the quality and potential of the singer concerned. I listened to her rendition of that aria for Senta back to back with Jessye Norman's on YouTube here
and can simply hear no comparison. To my ears, Jenufa Gleich is no true Wagnerian dramatic soprano. Indeed, she started off singing Donizetti and Bellini; I don't where she got the idea that she could change her Fach and move into Wagner, as the voice is thin, scratchy, improperly registered with a very weak middle and no bottom - all squeaky top and no solid core.
Norman is, by contrast, steady, powerful, large and beautiful with a lower register and the right emotional impact - it's like two different singing worlds.
I checked my reaction with two knowledgeable voice-fancier friends and they agreed with me. Reviewing is most certainly not about "being right" as taste is so subjective, but I am genuinely puzzled by Paul's admiration for her. I admire any singer who can handle this music but I don't think this is Miss Gleich's forte.
