Curiously, King Albert had already used his Order of the Elephant in Copenhagen during his State Visit to Denmark and in the 1960s when his brother received the Danish King & Queen. Back then there was no Wiki for an answear. --Previous Message-- : : When Queen Fabiola was Queen Consort she : never wore sashes. : Will that mean that she refused to wear any : Order. I saw her wearing an order only for : Her Visit to the Pope when she was dressed : in white with white Mantilla : : In some Country the King has a more : important Order than the Queen Consort. : : Queen Paola adores Sashes if it was the most : precious Elephant , why She ?. : : A Colonel told us that during a State Visit : of the Royals of Denmark in Belgium The King : asked if the Elephant has to be showed on : the front or the other way.
