No No, he knows perfectly how to wear the First Order in Belgium. During the Questions afterwards mostly about DoE who confused the Order of Leopold and The Order of the Leopard of Congo/Zaire at the late King Baudouin’s funerals, someone asked if that could happen to our King and he spoke about the Danish Elephant’s order,The King wanted to be sure to wear it perfectly. Amen!
--Previous Message-- : Dear Pedro , You are better informed about the : King wearing the Elephant Order. What I : wrote is what I heard during a lecture of a : Colonel about the Order of Leopold and : others. Thanks for correcting. Regards : : --Previous Message-- : Yes, but Albert had worn the Order of the : Elephant before, in 1968. And before the : Queen of Denmark paid a State Visit to him, : he had already visited her in Copenhagen and : wore the Order for 2 or 3 times during this : occasion. : : --Previous Message-- : It was since 1993 when he is King of the : Belgians. : : --Previous Message-- : Curiously, King Albert had already used his : Order of the Elephant in Copenhagen during : his State Visit to Denmark and in the 1960s : when his brother received the Danish King : & Queen. Back then there was no Wiki for : an answear. : : --Previous Message-- : : When Queen Fabiola was Queen Consort she : never wore sashes. : Will that mean that she refused to wear any : Order. I saw her wearing an order only for : Her Visit to the Pope when she was dressed : in white with white Mantilla : : In some Country the King has a more : important Order than the Queen Consort. : : Queen Paola adores Sashes if it was the most : precious Elephant , why She ?. : : A Colonel told us that during a State Visit : of the Royals of Denmark in Belgium The King : asked if the Elephant has to be showed on : the front or the other way. They found the : answer in Wiki. : : --Previous Message-- : If you compare photos of various elephants, : you will maybe notice that they vary in size : and shape, depending on their age. And some : have bigger diamonds than others, which : again means that some are more precious than : others. Of the elephants currently used, the : most valuable belongs to Queen Paola! : : : : : : : : : : : : : : :
