Thank you for this info. So we should call the 'pink tourmaline parure' from now on? I don't think that the choker and bracelet from the Danish wedding can be part of the original parure. The style is just too different. And as Johan stated above, the parure is very old and doesn't originate from the Savoy family. So the original bracelets wouldn't have had a Savoy knot motive. --Previous Message-- : : Last year I was very lucky to buy the book : "Jewels of the House of Savoy", : the parure was originally set with garnets : and later tourmalines. There were two : bracelets so I'm wondering if the choker is : one or both bracelets coverted since the : original parure didn't have a choker. : The original earrings consisted of the : smaller and large tourmaline pendants with a : diamond floral piece separating them. The : pendants on the shorter earrings may be the : pendants from the necklace or the brooch. : I'm sorry I don't have a scanner. : The book is out of this world. The jewels : of the Savoy House are majestic. : --Previous Message-- : : In the photo of the parure, there appears to : be tiny hooks at the bottom of the small : motifs flanking the center one and perhaps : on the larger motifs next to those. So : perhaps there are a few more clusters. : : : : : :
