I apologize for not making myself clear. The parure includes two bracelets, but there is no choker. I believe one or both bracelets were converted to make the choker that Marina now wears. Alas I don't have an IPhone or an Android phone, call me a dinosaur! --Previous Message-- : Thanks for this information Karen : : This makes sense...the height of the choker : is identical to the bracelet, which caught : my attention initially...so the choker is : most likely made out of twin bracelet and : they have nothing to do with pink : tourmaline? parure.... : : If you have an Iphone you can take a quick : photo from the book and post it : here...Scanner is becoming extinct : : : : --Previous Message-- : : Last year I was very lucky to buy the book : "Jewels of the House of Savoy", : the parure was originally set with garnets : and later tourmalines. There were two : bracelets so I'm wondering if the choker is : one or both bracelets coverted since the : original parure didn't have a choker. : The original earrings consisted of the : smaller and large tourmaline pendants with a : diamond floral piece separating them. The : pendants on the shorter earrings may be the : pendants from the necklace or the brooch. : I'm sorry I don't have a scanner. : The book is out of this world. The jewels : of the Savoy House are majestic. : --Previous Message-- : : In the photo of the parure, there appears to : be tiny hooks at the bottom of the small : motifs flanking the center one and perhaps : on the larger motifs next to those. So : perhaps there are a few more clusters. : : : : : : : :
